UNDERSTANDING THE MARKET

We are experiencing a real turnaround in the UPS market. Today, the product is finally being manufactured with the market’s needs in mind and no longer just according to the company’s production capacity.

The philosophy of “What must be built” has replaced that of “What can be built”.

All this means that the UPS is designed to meet at least three very specific user requirements:

  • Extremely low cost.
  • Maximum reliability and performance.
  • Total adaptability to the office environment

The downsizing of systems and the ever-increasing awareness of electrical problems has led to a vertiginous increase in the sale of small and medium-power UPSs, intended to power PCs and small networks. The potential of this market remains enormous: recent statistics show that more than 70 % of users do not use UPSs.

THE BIG ADVANTAGE OF ON LITE

Thanks to the new ON LITE UPSs, PC users and small networks can now also safeguard their systems with miniaturised UPSs with performance similar to those used for large computers, at a minimal cost. Thanks to ON LITE, the days when buying a UPS for a PC was almost as expensive as buying the PC itself are definitely over: the most interesting aspect of ON LITE UPSs is that they are more affordable than most of the additional hardware, peripherals and software packages usually purchased by Personal Computer Users.
