Description
AG50-12-F2: backup power you can count on
Sealed reliability for your critical systems
The AG50-12-F2 is the 12 V – 5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery from the ON LITE AG series, designed to deliver stable, reliable backup power to alarm systems, fire protection systems and emergency power systems. Built on proven AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology with VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) safety valves, it combines high-performance plates and electrolyte in a fully sealed case.
With a design life of 10 years in float service at 25°C, it offers an excellent balance of performance, service life and cost: a reliable replacement for scheduled maintenance and for new installations.

Key benefits and features
- Sealed AGM VRLA technology: the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators and a safety valve regulates the internal pressure. The result: no acid leakage, no topping up, no maintenance.
- Ready for demanding discharges: heavy-duty plates and an internal resistance of approx. 36 mΩ when fully charged allow it to deliver up to 75 A for 5 seconds.
- Long life and low self-discharge: design life of 10 years in float service at 25°C. In storage it retains about 82% of its charge after 6 months and 64% after 12 months.
- Stable performance across temperatures: at -15°C it still delivers 65% of its rated capacity, 85% at 0°C and up to 102% at 40°C. For the longest service life, install it in an environment close to 25°C.
- Robust, certified construction: automated assembly, copper 6.35 mm Faston terminals and an ABS (UL94HB) or flame-retardant ABS (UL94-V0) case. It meets IEC, BS, JIS and Eurobat standards and is CE and UL certified.
- Safe transport: designed to be transported safely by road, rail, sea and air.
